Hey everybody,

You may or may not know me as Bandito of the Toxic house, formerly the Toxic Claws house, formerly a group of people who would pt at lumberjacks. If you don’t know me that’s cool, I was never extremely social in this game, but I did buff almost everybody who asked and I find it hard to believe you never asked since it seems that’s all I do in game at times.

I’m here today to say goodbye. My housemate and good friend Cheshire is moving on to Bright Shadow. She was the main reason I ever started playing and stuck around til lvl 93 (some day that 94 skill will be mine…someday) and with the house in ruins and my friends list a ghost town it’s time to move on.

It’s been a long time since that first day when I set out to collect Toad’s Hindlegs and a higher level healer named Evila gave me a decent starter staff and some gems to sell and I never saw her again.

I’ve been spending the last few days before open beta for Bright Shadow begins grinding with friends like back in the days of lumberjacks and three tails, visiting some of my favorite spots like Toxic’s HQ (House Of Choas, location undisclosed) and helping out newbs like Evila did for me.

I’ll say this, if you want SOF to come back from the way things have been going. If you want there to be a playerbase in the foreseeable future you should help out a newb. Hell, help out lower level people in your faction and start a small army. Conversely if you ever find yourself bored of the same scenery, just going through the motions of hitting your highest level skill and then potting up to repair the damage from the mob’s retaliation or just caught in the rat race of trying to out level people in a game with no level cap, if you’d rather play something where bugs are fixed instead of having useless premiums like name decorations added, maybe it’s time you too quit.

I can’t tell you what the future holds. I don’t know how long I’ll play Bright Shadow or if I’ll ever be back or pop back in. I always said I wanted to see the final hours before Netgame pulled the plug when SOF becomes unprofitable. It’s been real but I forgot why I ever came here in the first place. Take care.

First i have to say sorry to toxic, i didnt want to left but i had to cuz something happened on me, so plz forgive me.
Second i have to thank you, ches, and everyone who from old toxic. When i was low level, no one wanted to pty with me cuz i was a weak, **** swordie (until now "someones" still called me the weakest swordman in game), only u guys wanted to pty train with me, i really thx of all :)
Third, if one day u guys come back and form the house again, plz allow me to be u guys the 7th house memeber again and ches, i will be always your guardian of your house

Set - We all played for a while even though the game was going down hill. I played "full time" till Dec of last year, then got busy and was going to finish college. So I stopped.

After 5th promo for me, i wasnt to interested in the game.

Moved out of my house ,got a stable job and focused on art. I did visit as much as I could with limited net.

House wasnt really the same since I got busy.

Seven- I understand and hold no grunge. Its a game. I made friends, built a house, made more friends, got to my lvl goal, continued to have these friends even when i got busy,got the best bow and left the game peacefully. I guess what more could I ask out of a free game.

If we ever do come back, i will of course, let you know.

Old days were the best, before IP was released, it was awesome, full of sweet ppl, parties, no matter how weak or strong you were, u were able to join as long as u were nice and fought in pt =]
Nowadays, no pts, so I suggested a PT EXP Event, The GM said they are gonna make it (Me and some others suggested it) I hope it will do a good things, cus everyone care about power now. Everyone is strong nowadays, SA 17x4 weps dont exist anymore (You know how I mean it). your 2nd promo wep is mostly SA 24x4. or just use SA 130. (they should make an end on it, just like in YulgangSEA.) After IP, things started to mess up. And after the DD was gone daily, everyone poofed, we complained, and got it back on weekends. But still, the good old ppl, who were so friendly, are all gone =[ I wish I could do anything to get those players back and to get more ppl to SoF =/
Now, we dont have a lot of FREE MONEY to spend, like in the old days. I help ppl to get 2nd promo, but than they need to get their own stuffs. You need to learn it yourself to you know =]

My last hope is on the end of the year, Couple System, New PT EXP Event, and few other things. Hopefully its gonna be a succes, or it might be SoF´s last year =/ The amount of players decreased a lot this year, even with so many good prem stuffs. NetGame should focus themselves on making Advertisements for SoF. Hopefully, a wonder will happen, cus I really wanna see those old ppl back =/

And I really miss the old PB wars. It was fun, it is just a game, you got kil1ed? well unfortunately, try again.

Nowadays the IP wars.. When you k1ll someone, the house chat of the k1lled player gets spammed with WHO WHO WHO, WHO KI11ED YA?!!
You tell the name and a whole House is gonna gang bang you, pking is bullying nowadays, its not that funny anymore =/
Hopefully, a wonder will happen, and get SoF back like it was in 2007 =[
Also I miss those old glowy weapons. Rubies have broken my heart </3

And you MUST have a master nowdays, which should get a better punishment than just a high amount of Chi, they should take away ki for each time u use the skill. things have messed it up, is it still possible to fix it, and make SoF a lovely game again? Or is it to late?

I played this game for 3 years after my brother introduced me to this game it was like right after close beta version. I do agree on what you said about the old sof life but the game is changing. People you met on the game come and go, were all not gonna be here forever and that how it is. One time, my old friend who quited 2 years ago came back to visit the game and he was surprised knowing that until now Im still playing. I just hope that sof wont end, because this game was also the reason we met good friends!

I missed the everyday DD event before and I dunno why GM changed it although they knew that players like it to be that way. About IP, well for me its not the reason it made the game worst, some players like pking while others dont. GM released this map because thats how sof story goes and we all know that order and chaos fight each other. It depends on the players whether they will plant anger to other players who pk them, they just dont know how to understand the way sof is according to the story. Although some overdoing it and bullying others, its up to the players to know whats right. Sometimes I get pissed if someone continue pking me while training, but i dont mind unless I can beat them by myself

Yeah Im a bit jealous on new players nowadays cause they can have masters to give them skills for free unlike the old days, we need time to earn ki and plvl but its ok as long the idea is acceptable to sof. I hope GM could fix numbers of bugs encountered by the game although we know its not easy to avoid having bugs on online games.

Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.

Hey guys,

Its Cloud/Adam/iWatermelon, was just surfing the net looking for random stuff when i ran across the sof website again and poof I saw Bandits post.

Had to dig up SO MUCH stuff to find my acc info again.

Anyways, Bandit0, I wish you the best in your life. Same to you Cheshie, keep up the crazy artistic randomness. And you setsuna keep up the...well keep up whatever it is you do now

Some of the best times i ever had in my "online gaming" were in the Toxic house, and I hope theres no grudges being held against me because I am holding none against anyone and I only think kindly of you guys.

Anyways, not much at my end, still in uni as usual, Ill be done and in front of a cl***room teaching in a year and a half (making it a total of 6 years that i spent in uni!! christ!).

Ive been very busy in the time ive been gone. Things changed a lot. Im engaged now, moved out and got a place with my lady.

And I will forever remember you guys: Cheshire, Bandit, Manug, Efraino, Setsuna, Kiky, McKenzee, Jeniko

and of course all the DJ people and the eminence people and sh1nigami, daisuke, and the german people.

In any case, I really miss the old days...
