There are two ways to buy a pet.
Name | Description | Price |
---|---|---|
Pet Mouse(Egg) | An egg that contains a Summoning Charm (Mouse) | 22,000 |
Pet Hawk(Egg) | An egg that contains a Summoning Charm (Hawk) | 22,000 |
Pet Leopard(Egg) | An egg that contains a Summoning Charm (Leopard) | 33,000 |
Pet Tiger(Egg) | An egg that contains a Summoning Charm (Tiger) | 33,000 |
After you purchase an Egg from the premium shop, you can open it and obtain a Summoning Charm by right-clicking the Egg. You may purchase an unlimited amount of Eggs but each character may only have 2 Summoning Charms. Keep this in mind when you purchase pets. (You may view the Summoning Charms you own through the Status Window (CTRL+S). Once an Egg is opened, its loyalty begins to change so it is wise to complete the ‘Learning the Secrets about Pets 1/5 ’ quest from HeJin before opening an egg. When a pet’s loyalty falls to its minimum value, you must use a Fallen Blossom to raise its loyalty again.
Pet Eggs and Summoning Charms are freely tradable within the game. If a pet is traded this way, its level and stats are sustained so there is no need to raise the pet all over. The following conditions apply when trading pets: - The seller must empty the pet’s equipment window. - The purchaser must have less than 2 Summoning Charms. - When a pet is traded, its loyalty is at its minimum so a Fallen Blossom must be used to raise the pet’s loyalty.
There are no restrictions to possessing a Pet Egg or Summoning Charm. However, in order to summon a pet, the character must complete the "earning the Secrets about Pets 1/5" quest from Hejin (it is a 5-step quest but only the completion of the first step is necessary to summon a pet).
- In your equipment window, there is a small slot with a pet’s face drawn in. You can register a Summoning Charm for use by dragging it into this slot. Once registered, a small "Summon" button forms to its right. Your pet can be summoned by clicking this "Summon" button, or you can unsummon your pet by clicking this button while your pet is already summoned. You may also summon or unsummon your pet through the Pet Action Window.
- Summon :
- Your pet is summoned after a 3 second delay.
- Unsummon :
- When a pet is unsummoned by pressing the "Summon" button, its loyalty decreases by 10 and you may not summon your pet again for 30 seconds.
(When your pet is unsummoned because you were disconnected or server instability, its loyalty does not decrease)

* When your pet’s loyalty falls to its minimum value, your pet cannot be summoned and its loyalty doesn’t increase even if you feed it food. You must use a Fallen Blossom which can be purchased through a pet-NPC from any region.
Once your pet reaches your character’s level, it will no longer be able to gain experience until you level up. In other words, your pet’s max level is determined by your character’s present level.
Your pet can get promoted through quests similar to the promotion system that is part of your character’s development. Your pet’s health and chi will increase with each promotion and these bonuses will also be added with each level.
