If autoupdate does not work, please follow the directions below.
1) Re-installing the Windows (OS) Updates and internet explorer.
2) Check for virus infection
3) Check to make sure that you have enough HDD space (1GB)
4) Delete the cookies and temporary internet files from the tools-> internet option menu. |

Failed to set DirectX devices error. |
|
|
Such problem occurs if you do not have DirectX or if you have the older version of it.
First, check to make sure that you have DirectX 9.0 or higher version of it. If you do have the current version, go to Start->Run->dxdiag->Save all files and refer to the 1:1 Customer Service with the dxdiag.txt file. |

Nothing happens even if I click on the start button on the homepage. |

Game start button will only appear if you are using the internet explorer. |

Please download the Mlauncher manual setup from the support section on the homepage. |

Internet Explorer [Tools->Internet Option->Advanced], then check on the Manual FTP that is compatible with firewall and DSL modem. |

Internet Explorer [Tools->Internet Option->Advanced], uncheck the [always send url to utf-8]. Also, delete the cookies as well from the Tools-> internet option. |

Check to see if you have popup block, or adware block. When those programs are active, Active X may be blocked by the program which will not let you download the game. |

You can either uncheck the Active X block option, or simply delete the Ad wares to avoid the problem.

It says my graphic card is too old. |
|
|
Windows Start->Run->type dxdiag->Display, check the name of your graphic card. Update the graphic card driver after you check the name of your graphic card according to your Windows OS.
If the problem persists, please refer to the customer service along with DirectX.
1. Click on the Start button, then click on the Run button.
2. When the window appear, type in 'dxdiag' and click Ok.
3. Once the DirectX diagnostics window pops up, you can check the manufacture and
the model name from the display menu. |

CRC error occurs. |
|

There are 3 types of CRC errors.
1) Damaged OS -> can be fixed by re-installing the windows OS
2) Defected Motherboard (Hard/Software)->Program(client) can't be recognized.
3) Error in the setup file->the file could have been damaged during the download.
In most cases, the error in the game occurs from the damaged file. Thus, it many situations, problems can simply be solved by re-downloading the setup file, and re-installing the client. |

Can I play the game in a windows mode? |
|
|
Scions of Fate does not support the windows mode (Alt + Tab).
However, it does work in some OS, but in many cases, it puts the computer under the stress.
We do not recommend our users to use multiple programs or have multiple applications open and running at the same time. |

What graphic cards are capable of running Scions of Fate? |
|
|
Upgrading your graphic card would optimize your game play environment.
The most widely used gaming graphic cards are NVIDIA, ATI, Intel, Matrix, S3, and sis.
The Intel, Matrix, S3 and sis products are mostly built-in graphic cards which are not suitable for 3D gaming. These might cause lag, disconnection, and graphic fragments.
Also, it is recommended that you update your graphic card driver as well. The easiest and quickest way to update your graphic card driver would be to visit our website and download the driver according to your graphic card. |

Can I play Scions of Fate with SIS graphic cards? |
|
|
If the graphic card that you are using is Sis 661FX_760_741_M661FX_M760_M741 type, it is motherboard built-in graphic card.

How to send in your computer specs
If you have done the above, click on the [save all information] menu on the DirectX diagnostics.
Then, save the information as dxdiag file. You will have to attach log.txt and yulgangerror.dmp in the dxdiag file and send in the email to our customer service.

Does the Scions of Fate work in VooDoo graphic cards? |
|
|
If you are using the Voodoo graphic cards, you might face many problems.
Voodoo graphic cards are old built in graphic cards, so they have trouble running the recent 3D games.
In many cases, they would cause lag, disconnection, and pixel breakouts.
It is recommended that you change your graphic cards.

Is there way to adjust the frame size? |

Check to see if the frame size has been changed.
The frame size adjustments can be done within the game as well. (esc -> Ctrl + O)
